How To Apply
Application Process
1. Primer
Apply a coat of preferred Gem Primer and allow drying for 4 - 6 hours.
2. Putty
Apply a coat of Gem Paints Cement Wall Putty to level the surface and let it dry for 6 - 8 hours. Sand with emery paper 180 and wipe clean.
3. Primer
Apply second coat of preferred Gem Primer and let it dry. Sand with emery paper 320 and wipe clean.
4. Topcoat
Thin a litre of preferred Gem Range of Emulsion with recommended water. Apply 2 - 3 coats of paint with an interval of 3 - 4 hours between successive coats. Dark shades may require additional coat for proper hiding.
